Changing your @twitterid to @TwitterID

I know not everyone have this problem but if someone have he would not find solution anywhere in the world but here.
The Inspiration:
Few days ago i signed up on twitter with @Tangywala and the very next moment i realized that first letter should also be in small ''t'' and not capital ''T'', when i tried to change it i faild, as this id is already taken. So i came up with this post to help those to whom it may concern.
The problem:
Sometimes it so happens that you sign up for a twitter id and then you dont like the all small caps and want to capitalize first letter or want to convert all letters to small or capital. But twitter dont provide any solution to this.
The Solution:
suppose you have created @twitterid and you want to change it to @TwitterID for easy understanding, follow these steps:
1. Sign in to @twitterid
2. Go to settings
3. Change the id to anything that dont already exist i.e. @twitteridxyzabc. By doing so you are making your @twitterid available to be taken*.
4. Now you'll see @twitteridxyzabc as your twitter id, change it to @TwitterID enter password to verify and save.
You'r done.
*DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK

Get 250+ followers on your twitter in a month - The unfair way

Normaly its not needed to have 100s of followers on twitter who just follow you and dont listen to you but someone might feel happy to see a large digit in there to impress his girlfriend or to show that he is important to the people he is engaged with on twitter. Well this blogpost is for everyone who wants to increase his twitter following.
Its very simple, just follow these steps:
1. Suppose you already have an id @92pk. Now Create another twitter id that gives an impression of news or quotes twitter. It could be anything but should contain one of these keywords. i.e. Webnewsman, quotealertday etc. Suppose we have created @92news. Write a short discription like Latest News from Around the World. etc. Upload a display image relevant to it.
2. Now find some good sites that update related rss feeds on daily basis. You may snatch news feeds from Google news, Yahoo news or any other site. Copy the rss link.
3. Sign up at http://twitterfeed.com and setup it up to feed your selected rss to @92news. Visit @92news to see it its working. Twitterfeed should start feeding it in an hour or so.
4. Now just forget this account for a month and use your personal account @92pk
5. After a month you'll see atleast 250 people are following @92news. Now this is the time to make all those followers yours. Sign in to your @92pk go to settings and change the id to @92pkxyzabc or anything that doesnt already exist. By doing that you are making your 92pk available to be taken*. Now sign out and sign in to @92news that has 250 followers on board. Go to settings and rename the twitter id from 92news to 92pk. Be quick in doing this as if someone at the same time is applying for 92pk will take it away from you!*.
Now you are using 92pk with more than 250 followers!.

*DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK
P.S. Though it works but I didnt increase my followers using this method.
No twitter was harm while writting this post.

My confusion: what cellphone should I buy!

The market is flooding with options, everyday you see a new phone claiming to fullfill all your modern day needs. My modern day needs are
1. Facebook
2. Twitter
3. Email
4. Internet surfing / sufring (whatever applies)
5. Sms
6. Calling
7. Music and videos
8. Camera
so the way a phone is used have changed dramaticaly. Finding a phone satisfying all this is a job that we all bearly wish to take before buying a new phone, we just go with the market trend and then embarrass ourself with a crap piece of phone that doesnt do what we want it to do. If you'r planning to buy the luxury iphone and thinking that all your needs will be met as you are paying alot then sorry to interept your day dreaming, you are wrong, imagine yourself holding an iphone 4 and your friend is showing you pictures taken with a sonyericsson satio 12mp that to he bought from a second hand mobile phone shop. So paying a high price is not the way to having a eutopian phone. What you need to see what you want and what you'll get. You dont need a retina display but you need a camera to capture pictures at best resolution. Weird it is that iphone 4 has a display capable of showing at a resolution that it is not capable of capturing. So its better to go for Nokia n8. I remember a year ago i was a music crazy text machine and experimented my hard earned money on many sets including Nokia 5800, Samsung Galaxy Spica, iphone 3G, etc. But still had problem in meeting my requirements. Some lacked quality camera, some weak in music, some satisfying both but a resistive touch didnt allow fast typing. Then i thought for a while that what i want and what phone is offering all that for me. I wanted a mobile that is Nseries + Eseries + n-gage + XpressMusic all in one and that was Nokia 5730 XpressMusic, offering all i needed. I bought it and used it happily for a year before switching to Blackberry Curve 9300 as now my priorities have changed.

Shut down your factory, we have created perfect environment to facilitate you!

That era of Musharraf is over, the current condition of industires in Pakistan is evidence of this. I dont really know the reason but all the big projects were completed during a dictator's era. If you may recall the establishment of greatest project ever in Pakistan, those were embarked and completed during Ayub Khan's martial law. The Tarbela dam, Mangla dam, Steel Mill, Defence manufecturing fecilities in Wah cantt are to name a few. Then recently we witnessed a daramatic growth in industry, GDP, GDP per capita shooted from $450 to $2000!, the growth in education and other administrative improvements in Musharraf's era. But as i said earlier all that good is gone. Now what we see is just distruction.
The Federal minister for Industries Hazar Khan Bajrani stated in senate that in the last few years owning to diffirents reasons 2500 industries have closed their operations. About 700 in Sindh, 668 in Khybar Pakhtoon Kha, 115 in Punjab, and 29 industries in Balochistan have been shut down so far. In export proccessing zone 47 units have been closed. These are the statistics that government have, there are many other small units that have been shut. The situation is getting worse every day, if this is to go on then what we will see is unimaginable. A major reason for the shut down is shortage of electricity and gas loadsheding. Many businessmen have already moved their setups to Bangladesh and many others are planning to move. The second big reason is corruption, that is on ever high. According to recent World Bank report corruption is a big hurdle in establishing and running any industry in Pakistan.

P.S.
PM Gillani said dont tell him the problem, they know it already, give them the solution. But if we have to point out the problems and provide solutions then what the hell we have elected you for!

Meeting a Blasphemer is a Blasphemy in itself!

You know as a society we have a common problem. If someone is accused of blasphemy then we are so much narrow-minded that even listening to that person's argument or point of view is considered as an act of blasphemy in itself.
I assume many of mulviz protesting against Aasia Bibi didnt even bother knowing about what she actualy said and joined the mob.
The media is equaly responsible for current situation. The first time Aasia case was heard on TV it was announcement of the sentence givn to her a case that was still up in the air, but it was in the air and media must be walking on the air for getting a story to engage the viewers to watch their advertisements.
That catchy story provided enough fuel for the molviz to burn their lamp and burn everyone else who comes their way. Now mulviz just want her to be hanged, why? That doesnt matter now!.
The media should have followed her right from the begining, when she was arrestd a year ago. Then i am sure you'd have heard a different story. A different judgement too by the court. Abhi kuch ni hoskta.
I hope she's not in Exit Control List because now that is the only way 'out', and there are efforts underway by teams of christians and human right activist to take her to a 'safe place'.

Aasia Bibi — a Case of Blasphemy or Profanity?

I hate to type but here i really want to give you a perspective on somthing that has not been given attention before. Lets just imagine You and Me. You are reading my blog so you know my name (i hope you didnt skip that part). But to me you are a total stranger (of course unless you leave your traces in the comments below). Too much of a talk! Now lets just come to the point. Suppose you meet me and disrespect me infront of the public who adore me and love me (i wonder if there are any), what would you expect from them?, what would be their response?. If i am not wrong they will be angry at you and many die heart fans will remember you for a long time for they believe their respect for me is purely deserving. Now imagine again (i know you imagine lot of things so dont mind if i give you one more) that you meet me and that gathering of my fans is still there (oh their presence has begin to annoy me by now) and you just do nothing no respect and no disrespect. What will happen, what response do you expect now? Of course not much (except that one crazy fan who have tatto of my name on his arm might come to you and reveal to you how important i am) and you'll not even be rememberd after that. So can you figure out the difference between disrespect, respect, and not respecting just being irrespective?.
Hmm i dont see Aasia's name up there in whole article either. What a blog, subject dont even have a mention in the matter. But believe me she does matter. The whole image of our holy land and integrity of our social system rely on such minor incidents and how we respond to them and deal with them. I think Aasia Bibi is getting punishment for being profane. Ciao

Islam and Post Mortem — In Short

Allah says: "And verily we have honored the children of Adam." (Quran 17: 70)
A human body is sacred even after death. The Prophet (s.a.w) said: "Breaking the bone of a dead person is similar (in sin) to breaking the bone of a living person". (Sunan Abu Dawud, Sunan Ibn Majah & Musnad Ahmad)
The prophet forbade mutilation of the human body.
However ulama have allowed post mortem under the doctrine of zaruurat (necessity).
Postmortem is allowed in the following condition in Islam:
1. To confirm the cause of death in a criminal case
2. To know the disease that cause the death.
3. For teaching and learning purposes in the medical field. And it is compulsory to bury the dissected dead body.

A Village Boy from Jhang - Prof Abdus Salam

Prof Abdus Salam, the Nobel laureate who dominated the world of Physics for decades, breathed his last 14 years ago at 08:15(PST) on Thursday November 21, 1996 after a protracted illness. With his sad demise, not only Pakistan but also the entire third world lost a caring friend and a great benefactor. Salam was born in Jhang on January 29, 1926 and started his career from this place. Imagine the state of science at the time in this part of the world. Salam describes how one of his science teachers explained to his class the fundamental forces in nature. One is gravity that everybody is familiar with. Second is electricity – which does not exist in Jhang, it exists only in Lahore. Third is the nuclear force and that exists only in Europe. That was the state of science education and the level of awareness in Jhang. And Salam starts his career from that humble background. But due to his determination, hard work and constant struggle, he overcomes his initial handicaps and soon becomes a celebrity in the world of physics. He goes to the best centres in the world, interacts with the grand masters of the time, rubs shoulders with giants like Dirac, Pauli, Heisenberg, Dyson and many others and eventually joins the elite club of Nobel laureates in 1979. This is the story of a village boy from Jhang. An extraordinary story indeed and therefore must be told to every child in the third world. Salam's story will inspire all young people with the idea that wherever they may come from in the world, they too can make careers in science or indeed in any other profession at present dominated by the rich countries. Salam received his early education from Jhang – did his Matric and Intermediate from there. Right from his school days, he proved himself to be exceptionally smart in studies. In 1942, at the age of 16, Salam moved to Government College Lahore where he was lucky to find a great teacher of Mathematics in Prof Chowla who later became one of the great number theorists of his time. Chowla did Mathematics all the time and nothing else. He had little interest outside the subject. The other teachers used to think he was crazy. He had the habit of ending his classes sometimes citing unsolved problems. So, while teaching cubic and quartic equations to Salam's class, he posed a problem of Ramanujan (a legendary mathematician of the subcontinent) regarding four simultaneous equations in four variables. Salam spent three or four days on that and then came back to Chowla with the solution. Chowla sent Salam's solution to the journal 'Mathematics Student' for publication. This was Salam's first research paper that he published as a fourth-year college student. In 1944, Salam took the BA examinations with Mathematics, English and Urdu as subjects. Once again, he broke all previous records by a large margin. He offered additional papers for an Honours degree in English and again created a new record. In 1946, he passed his MA examinations in Mathematics, again seeking the highest score. But this time, he could not break the previous record. His friend, Professor Bambah, who was senior to him by a year had appeared in the MA examination a year before and had created an all-time record by scoring 100 percent marks. After doing his masters, Salam went to Cambridge University, UK, where he first did his BA Honours in Mathematics and Physics (topping in both), and then PhD in Theoretical Physics. He instantly became famous in the world of Physics with his PhD work. Upon returning to Pakistan, he became a professor of Mathematics at Govt College Lahore and at the same time head of Mathematics at the Punjab University. After staying here from 1951 to 1954, he decided to go back to Cambridge where he was offered a lectureship at the age of 28. Three years later, in 1957, Salam became a full professor at Imperial College, London. He was the first Muslim to be elevated to a chair in the Anglo-Saxon Society. People in Pakistan were not aware of what Salam had achieved in Britain. Mian Iftikharuddin broke the news. He was a known politician who owned an English daily, Pakistan Times. He happened to visit London in 1957(perhaps in connection with his son's admission). He met Salam and was surprised to know that Salam was a full professor there. He couldn't believe that and kept repeating, "Is it really true, is it really true?" He published Salam's story in his newspaper and thus introduced Salam – the scientist of international fame – to the people of Pakistan. At the age of 33, he became an FRS – Fellow of the Royal Society – London. Salam was the first Pakistani and the first Muslim to achieve that distinction. Now, the late Salimuzzaman Siddiqui, Prof Akhtar and, more recently, Prof Attaur Rehman are also Fellows of the Royal Society, London. At the age of 38, Salam became director of the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Trieste, Italy in 1964, the position at which he continued for 30 years. For his excellent contributions to Physics, Salam received several prestigious awards and honours, including the Nobel Prize in 1979 for his work published in 1967 on the unification of two fundamental forces: the electromagnetic force and the weak nuclear force. For his contributions towards peace and promotion of international science collaboration, he got the Atoms for Peace Medal and award. He became a fellow/member of more than 30 academies/societies of the world, was awarded DSc Honoris Causa by more than 40 universities of the world. There is a long list of his achievements, honours and awards. The ICTP has preserved all his documents, awards, shields souvenirs and his personal collections of books. They have a separate room called the 'Salam Room' in the centre's library. The centre was renamed Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics on the occasion of his first death anniversary on the initiative of the Italian government. It is remarkable how the Italians have owned this great man and honoured him. Besides his scientific work, the creation of ICTP is an important legacy of Salam, which was set up in 1964 to provide scientists from the third world with opportunities to conduct research and study new developments in Physics and Mathematics. The scope of activities has since been extended to include applied and related fields of science. How does the centre work? Each year, the centre organises about 40 schools, colleges, conferences and workshops on different subjects – elementary particle physics, cosmology, condensed matter physics, material science, mathematics, computational physics, geophysics, climatology, biophysics, medical physics and laser and plasma physics. Each year, about 4,000 scientists visit the ICTP. And since its establishment in 1964, more than 70,000 scientists from 170 countries have visited the centre. Out of the 70,000, 70 percent were from Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe. In short, this is the story of that village boy who started his career from Jhang, becomes a towering personality in the world and leaves behind two important legacies – his scientific work and creation of the ICTP.

INTOLERANCE LEADS TO BLASPHEMY

Intolerance develops over a period. Teachers and society play an important role. Our mind is shaped in schools. I studied primary in Nawabshah, Sindh. one of my teachers and headmaster was a hindu, I lived happily with my hindu and christian friends. . . I did my matriculation from Attock, Punjab. And in that school my teacher even used to offend Deoband sect. So I came to conclude that breeding ground for such intolerant and extreamist mindset is the school. The quality of our school teachers needs to be addressed. As majority of schools are not Convent or Beaconhouse. Majority bearly have chairs. Its not the syllabus its the person we send our children to spend their time with for 5hours 6days a week.

WHAT IS MAKING YOUR CHILD MYOPIC (near-sighted/short-sighted)?

Now a days children are spending less time in outdoor sport and are engaged in activities requiring close-up viewing, such as text-messaging, playing hand-held video games, and Web surfing. These habbits are making your child myopic (nearsighted).

SOLUTION: Encourage outdoor activites and if your child wears glasses then make sure that he wears them all the time. A child having vision problems should see an optometrist twice a year.
For details consult an optometrist near you.

Why are so many Hindus converting to Islam ?

One Indian Hindu research professor, in his stunning book, claims that the description of Avatar found in the holy books of Hindu religion is in fact that of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam).

If the author of this book were a Muslim, he could have been arrested or he could have even been murdered and all the copies of his book would have been confiscated. Even a ban would have been slapped on its publication. A riot and violence would have broken out against innocent Muslims and their blood would have been shed.

Amazingly, the author of this book is a fair-minded, famous professor who happens to be a Hindu. His name is Pandit Benda Prakash Upadhai and the name of his fact revealing book is Kalki Avatar. The author is a Hindu Brahmin by caste of Bengali origin. He is a research scholar, a seeker of the Truth and a well-known Pandit in Allahabad University.

After years of research work, Pandit Vedaprakash published this book and eight other pandits have endorsed and certified his points of argument as authentic.

According to Hindu belief and their holy books, the description of the Guide and the Leader, named Kalki Avatar, fits only the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) of Arabia. So the Hindus of the whole world should not wait any longer for the arrival of Kalki Avatar (the spirit) and should readily accept Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) as Kalki Avatar.

NEVER ENDING PAIN
What the author and other eight eminent pandits say is that the Hindus who are still anxiously awaiting the arrival of Kaki Avatar are simply subjecting themselves to a never-ending pain, because such a great messenger has come and gone from this world fourteen centuries ago.

Pandit Vedaprakash produces the following sound evidence from the Vedas and other holy books of the Hindu religion in support of his claim:
1. In Purana (a holy book of the Hindus), it is stated that Kalki Avatar would be the last messenger (prophet) of God in this world for the guidance of the whole world and all human beings.

2. According to Hindu religions prediction of the birth of Kalki Avatar would take place in an isle which, again according to Hindu religion, is Arab region.
3. In the books of Hindus, the names of the father and the mother of Kalki Avatar are givenas Vishnubhagat and Sumaani respectively. If we examine the meanings of these names, we shall come to a very interesting conclusion, e.g. take Vishnubhagat: Vishnu (meaning god) + Bhagat (meaning slave) = Allah (in Arabic) = Slave of God = Abdullah (in Arabic). Sumaani = Peace or Calmness = Aaminah (in Arabic) (later ones were parents of Muhammad pbuh )

4. In the religious books of Hindus, it is mentioned the staple diet of Kalki Avatar would be dates and olive and he would be the most honest and truthful person in the Region. Without any doubt, the Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) is acclaimed to possess these qualities.

5. It is stated in Vedas (Hindu holy book) that the birth of Kalki Avatar would take place in an honourable clan. This perfectly fits only with the clan of Quraysh to which Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) belonged.

DAZZLING ACCOUNT

6. God would teach Kalki Avatar through His messenger (angel) in a cave. Allah taught Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) through His messenger Jibraaeel in a cave known as Ghaar Hiraa.

7. God would avail Kalki Avatar with a very speedy horse to ride and travel the whole world and the seven skies. This is an indication of the Buraaq and Miraaj (given to Muhammad pbuh).

8. God would also avail Kalki Avatar with divine help. This was probably proven in the Battle of Badr (that Muhammad pbuh faught).
9. Another dazzling account given about Kalki Avatar was that he would be born on the 12th of a month. The Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) was born on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
10. Kalki Avatar would be an excellent horse rider and swordsman. The Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) was both.

The author has given numerous other arguments in favour of his claim that Kalki Avatar is in fact Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) and those who still await the arrival of Kalki Avatar should think again.
